Empty Page

With a little strength,

I wear my hat

and in the verdant garden, I sat.

Holding a pen,

bringing a note

on my shoulder hangs a coat.

Watching the birds

feeling the wind

in this place, my desolation ends.

A troubled mind that can’t unwind

clueless on what words to write.

An empty page that seems not right

There drop those tears that blurred my sight.

  2. Wonderful Ela! Love the singular creative potent and the power of your words. So relatable what you write.
‘tears that blurred my eyes’ so evocative and meaningful. Hasn’t everybody faced that moment of absolute oblivion where nothing pours out but it does? Love the way you write. Hoping to read more from you. Peace and greetings from Sui generis 💛
